Processing and security of personal data

When you make a booking to stay with us, V.O.F. d'Oude Herbergh requires certain information from you. We also process data in other cases, such as when requesting information and visiting our websites. Below is a more detailed description of which data we can process and what we do with it.

What do we want to know from you?
• First and last name ;In order to be able to address you personally in our further communication, we are happy to use your personal data. These are of course also necessary to register your booking.
• Phone number ; We may need to contact you regarding your booking.
• E-mail address ; You will receive an email about your reservation, invoice and bookings you have made.
• Address ; We will send you most of the booking details by e-mail. But if desired, we will send certain information to your home address.
• IP address ; On the internet, we may look at your IP address.
 
Contact, access, change or delete data and complaints
On request, we will indicate whether we process your personal data. You can also request, correct, supplement, delete or shield this data under certain circumstances, for example if it is factually incorrect.

Progress data
Under certain circumstances we are obliged to pass on personal data to relevant authorities. In connection with (international) sanctions legislation, it may also happen that we share your data with, for example, financial institutions.
 
Retention periods
We will retain your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this document. However, on the basis of legislation, among other things, it may be necessary for us to retain data for a longer period of time.

Based on the law, we must indicate which so-called bases are used for the processing of your personal data. In doing so, we mainly look at the processing of data based on 1) an agreement, 2) in connection with a legitimate interest of V.O.F. d'Oude Herbergh, 3) a given permission and 4) in connection with a legal obligation.
We mainly use your data in connection with your booking and therefore on the basis of an agreement with you. Your booking will be registered and we will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Additional contact moments, such as reviews, marketing activities and the registration and analysis of your actions take place in connection with a legitimate interest of V.O.F. d'Oude Herbergh.

We use extensive security procedures to protect the personal data processed by us, including to prevent unauthorized access to this data.

V.O.F. d'Oude Herbergh reserves the right to make changes to the privacy statement. Therefore, check the privacy statement regularly for an update.
