General terms and conditions for renting holiday apartments and accommodation at d’Oude Herbergh, Terherne

General These general terms and conditions are binding. Both for d'Oude Herbergh, hereinafter referred to as the landlord, and for the person who concludes a lease with d'Oude Herbergh, hereinafter referred to as the tenant.

Prices Prices as laid down in the rental agreement are binding, subject to errors.

Confirmation of your booking and payment After your booking we will send you an invoice and our terms and conditions within a week. If you book longer than two weeks in advance, you are requested to pay an advance of 50% of the invoice. The remaining payment must be made 2 weeks before the start of the rental period. When booking within two weeks before the start of your rental period, the invoice must be paid in full, no later than one week after receipt.

Cancellation In case of cancellation less than two months before the rental date, 50% of the rental amount will be charged. If canceled less than 1 month before the rental date, 75% of the rental amount will be charged. In case of cancellation within two weeks before the rental date, the full rental amount is due. We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. We have good experiences with www.allianz-assistance.nl.

Changeover day For weekly rentals, the arrival and departure day is Friday or Monday. The tenant can move into the house from 4 p.m. For midweek rentals, the arrival day is Monday and the departure day is Friday. For weekend rentals, the arrival day is Friday and the departure day is Monday. The tenant must vacate the house before 10:00 am on the day of departure. Different arrival and departure days apply at Easter, Ascension Day and Whitsun.

Linen: Kitchen towels are provided free of charge. A towel package can be rented for € 8 per person. It consists of a towel and a bath towel per set. A bedlinen package costs € 10 per person. This consists of 1 single duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillowcase. When the beds are made, the sheet package costs € 15 per person. When rented for longer than a week, linen, towels and kitchen textiles can be changed on Friday or Monday as requested.

Final cleaning Final cleaning is mandatory and not included in the rent. You must leave the apartment tidy and neat (dishes clean in the dishwasher or tidy in the cupboard; furniture in its original place and waste bins should be empty).

Number of occupants It is not permitted to allow more people to stay in the house than for which the house is furnished. Children count as a full person when determining the number of residents. A child using the cot is not counted in the number of persons present. For this you must bring your own bed linen and blankets or a duvet. For visits, meetings and celebrations, visits during the day and in the evening may not lead to more than double occupancy. It goes without saying that there should be no inconvenience to local residents. The latter also applies to the use of radio or TV. It is not allowed to set up tents at the houses and apartments.

Parking. If more than the permitted number of cars (2 per holiday home) have to park in the yard of the Oude Herbergh, this must be discussed with the owner in advance.

No Smoking Smoking is not allowed in the apartments and houses.

Pets are welcome, but must be notified in advance when renting the property and extra charges are applicable. They must remain on a leash and not be a burden to other guests of the Oude Herbergh. It is forbidden to let the animals run free in the gardens of the Oude Herbergh or to let them do their business.

Household waste Normal household waste can be deposited in the gray container. Organic waste in the green containers, glass in the brown glass container . All other waste will separated by the waste collector after it has been deposited in the special tourist container.

Miscellaneous Dishwasher tablets and detergent for the washing machine must be brought by the tenant. Washing-up liquid, 2 garbage bags and 2 toilet rolls per house are provided on arrival.

Liability The Tenant is liable for damage and nuisance caused by himself and his guests. The landlord is not liable for: - damage or injury arising as a result of staying in the grounds or through the use of the facilities present in the grounds; - claims for damages arising from nuisance caused by third parties; - become inoperable or out of use of facilities or facilities. All this without prejudice to the provisions of the law. The tenant or main occupant is jointly and severally liable for the fulfillment of all obligations arising from the reservation and the stay, both his own, of all registered persons and of guests.

Lost and Found You can pick up objects left behind in consultation with the landlord at the agreed address.
