General terms and conditions for renting holiday apartments and houses at d'Oude Herbergh, Terherne
General These general terms and conditions are binding. Both for d'Oude Herbergh, hereinafter referred to as the landlord, and for the person who concludes a rental agreement with d'Oude Herbergh, hereinafter referred to as the tenant. When making an online reservation you have agreed to the general terms and conditions. Also through By making a (down) payment you agree to the general terms and conditions.Prices as stated in the rental agreement are binding, subject to errors.
Confirmation of your booking and payment If you book more than two weeks in advance, you will be requested to pay a deposit of 50% of the invoice. The remaining payment must be made 2 weeks before the start of the rental period. If you book within two weeks before the start of your rental period, the invoice must be paid immediately, no later than one week after receipt.
Cancellation If you cancel less than two months before the rental date, 50% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel less than 1 month before the rental date, 75% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel within two weeks before the rental date, the full rental amount is due. We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. We have good experiences with www.allianz-assistance.nl.
Changeover day For weekly rentals, the arrival and departure day is Friday or Monday. The tenant can occupy the house from 4:00 PM. For midweek rentals, the arrival day is Monday and the departure day is Friday. For weekend rentals, the arrival day is Friday and the departure day is Monday. The tenant must leave the house before 10:00 am on the day of departure. Different arrival and departure days apply at Easter, Ascension Day and Pentecost.
Linen: Kitchen textiles are provided free of charge. A towel package consists of a towel and a bath towel per set. A sheet package consists of 1 single duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillowcase. Beds can be made upon arrival for a fee. When renting for longer than a week, linen, towels and kitchen textiles will be changed on Fridays upon request.
Final cleaning Final cleaning is mandatory and not included in the rental price. You must leave the apartment tidy and 'broom clean' (dishes clean in the dishwasher or tidy in the cupboard; furniture in its original place and waste bins empty).
Habitation and visitors It is not permitted to allow more people to spend the night in the house than the house is designed for. Children count as a full person when determining the number of residents. A child using the cot is not counted in the number of people present. You must bring your own bed linen and blankets or a duvet. For visitors, meetings and celebrations, visits during the day and in the evening may not lead to more than double occupancy. It goes without saying that there should be no inconvenience to local residents. The latter also applies to the use of radio or TV. Setting up tents near the houses and apartments is not permitted.
Parking. If more than the permitted number of cars (2 per holiday home) need to park in the yard of the Oude Herbergh, this must be discussed in advance with the owner.
Smoking Smoking is not allowed in the apartments and houses.
Pets are only welcome at the Koumelker house, but must be registered in advance when renting the house. They must be kept on a leash and not bother other guests and neighbors. A dog should never be left alone in the house and should always be taken with you. It is forbidden to let animals out or to relieve themselves in the gardens of the Oude Herbergh.
Household waste Residual waste can be deposited in the gray container. Green waste in the green containers. Paper, glass and other PDM (plastic, drink cartons and metal) containers are located in the yard of d'Oude Herbergh.
Miscellaneous The tenant must bring his own dishwasher tablets and detergent for the washing machine. Dishwashing liquid, 2 rubbish bags and 2 toilet rolls per house are provided upon arrival.
Liability The Tenant is liable for damage and nuisance caused by himself and his guests. The lessor is not liable for: - damage or injury arising as a result of staying on the grounds or through the use of the facilities available on the grounds; - claims for damages arising from nuisance caused by third parties; - facilities or facilities becoming disabled or out of use. This is without prejudice to the provisions of the law. The tenant or the main resident is jointly and severally liable for the fulfillment of all obligations arising from the reservation and the stay, of himself, of all registered persons, and of guests.
Objects left behind You can collect any items left behind at the agreed address in consultation with the landlord.
